  1. 'Afraid you'd lose that bet. The original XF-92 prototype looked more interesting, with the pilot sitting in a pod centrally in the large air intake, just like the French Leduc experimental jets.

  3. I think I've been misunderstood. I never said this was the fastest, or the most impressive, or could do the Kessell Run in under 12 parsecs... I said "I bet his jet engine powered cigar tube was fassssst!"
    Fassssst translates to fast, meaning fast.
    Is there anyone that can find reason to quibble?
    It's got a jet engine, and can fly... that is fast for something that weighs a couple thousand pounds.
