Has anyone ever seen one of these before?

  1. I'm wondering if this is for the #4 con rod. I can't imagine why that would require a special tool. Maybe its for the so called "#4 Main," which is really the transmission tail shaft bearing/seal since the transmission and engine on a T share crank case oil. Whatever its for, I wonder if it may have been intended for an assembly line, since you can spin the nut down with the short crank, and then tighten it quickly with the brace, i.e., a clever pre-pneumatic assembly tool.
