Agreed. If we need something else to get us home, get a driver - like Uber, Lyft, or a horse. Autonomous cars my reduce problems on the road, but I do not think they will ever be as able to prevent the unexpected as a human can, who pays attention to whats going on around them, and prevents problems by anticipating them.
If I can't control the car, I'm not driving it or even sitting in it. Autonomous drive cars are for the lazy "Jetsons" type. Not for me.
