Alex and Sandy have adopted a rare old bird, a 1913 Phoenix

this was used by the original owner for about 20-30 years, and they kept it until the early 1950s, the last owner had it from the late 50s until this year. Roughly 60 years, and now, in his late 80s, passed it along to a new caretaker. In those years he restored all the chassis works quite thoroughly.
