Ed Pinks 36, he owned and raced it after WW2, until 1951

Famed engine builder and racer Ed Pink was still a teenager when he bought this Ford coupe in 1948. It was soon chopped five inches, hot rodded with Edelbrock speed equipment, and turned into a racecar. It competed on the California dry lakes, at Bonneville, and at Santa Ana Drags. In 1951, Ed joined the army and the coupe was sold soon afterward.
