Riviera headlights are interesting to see on a Corvette

Well... I guess I get to be the first comment here. That is fitting, since this is actually my car. (Seriously!!!) Contrary to the assupmtion many people make, I did not take a vintage 57 Vette and destroy it... The cars history: The actual Mods were done in the 60's. My Grandfather told me it was 1963, but just yesterday I was looking very close at some pics from the original creator and I noticed that it had 1967 Oregon plates on it. So the work may have been done in 67'ish instead of 63.... Either way, it was just a regular hotrod that wasn't even that popular back then. My Grandfather and Father purchased the car back in 82, pretty much as you see it. My Grandfathers intent was to restore it to stock, but they both, or should I say, we all agreed it was just too cool to ruin!

I had no idea back then that it would become my toy in the future. Now I get to play with it and add my own personal touches as I go. I show her off as much as I can. I take her to a few shows in the Seattle area every summer. Most people love it, but I do get a very interesting veriety of comments, both good and bad... So much more to say, but now you all have the basics on her history as I know it.

Also... I am looking to find the history on my Vette beyond when my family purchased her. Any clues, ideas, or insight would be greratly appreciated. Please contact me at randymkoch@gmail.com or poolbum007@hotmail.com . Thank you

PS: Thank you Jesse for posting this. It was quite a surprise to see your blog about my car
