the only reason to store cars must be to reap a profit... but this certainly seems a waste of time when instead, a rich guy could have enjoyed driving them. Too many collectors seem to die without enjoying, or selling, their collection, and then the auction companies profit instead

  1. I guess some collectors believe if they hang on to some cars, eventually they will make money on them. Some of them really must be as delusional as they come. Nut then there are collectors who just like having a collection of cars, however derelict they may be, and have no intentions whatsoever about selling them. I've seen them here in Denmark, the most extreme one being a truck dealer who couldn't let go of the trade-in trucks, and ended up with four friggin' hectares of them, when he died at age 92.
