in order to maximize profits, movies are getting 2020 release dates cancelled this spring and summer... F9, the new Fast and Furious movie, has been pushed back from May 22, 2020, to April 2, 2021.

No doubt you've already heard of other movies that were supposed to get released this month that have been rescheduled for later this year, but this is the first one I've heard of that straight gave up on making money, and got a jump on all the competition by getting into next years calendar for the prime release weekend
