I'd heard of a new car themed restaurant that recently opened, and stopped in yesterday... it is decorated really cool with a lot of car and truck stuff... but the menu is worth the time to read even if you don't look at the rest
I only had one burger and fries. They were good. But the burgers cost between 11 and 17.50. That's ridiculous for anyone who's as broke as I am, but I figure that's the price of going in there and getting the photos, and experience, to see if I like the place and can recommend it. I'd rather go to In n Out and for less than the price of the Guinness at STP (8 dollars) have a Double Double and Coca Cola. But look at the menu and decide for your self where you want to go, and what burger you want to eat. I want to enjoy a terrific burger, and so I have to try an expensive, ridiculously expensive, burger now and then, maybe one a year. But I get a Double Double at least once a month. Usually a couple times a month. Since I only had the one burger, I can't speak to how good the food is there, I think the only honest way to say it's good or not is to try a majority of it. THEN the answer would be referring to "the food" and not just the one burger I had. I had the Burnout Burger, and there wasn't enough cheese. Hell, I never found any on it. The way I look at it, the right cheese for a burger is mild or sharp cheddar, and since this burger had a fried egg and bacon, I say it should have at least 2 slices of sharp cheddar and one slice of American cheese. THAT is the way I would make it. That is not the way they make it... so, you only learn that after you order it, and until you try it, you won't know if you've wasted 14 dollars. Since all their burgers are 11 dollars or more, it's my opinion based on being broke, that it better be the best fucking burger I've ever had. For people making 2 or 3 times as much, and who have a shit ton of money in the bank and don't care how much they spend, on anything, I bet this factor of what a burger costs does not matter at all. And that's where the way this place is decorated comes into the matter, and it's way cool.
Damn. I wish we had one here.
ReplyDeleteWas the food any good?
