I don't remember hearing him say that when guys would hurry through the prep work on a nose job, and not work out the circular grinder deep scratches, that he saw the round lines and laid pinstriped over them to hide the scratches, and worked out the mirror image on the other side of the hood, built it up, and the hood peak pinstripe job was created.
