the woody Ford from the 1997 movie Lolita has been pulled out of storage

They "patina'd" the wood with hairspray and sand to get it to look aged

  1. Faux patina done well is fine by me.
    I wouldn't change a thing.

  2. I am glad to see the woody is still around. I did the upgrades to the electrical and cooling on this car for the movie studio. They also had another woody body they pulled around on a car trailer to film a lot of the interior shots. The movie was not released for about a year and a half after it was done. Timing is everything and there were some child crimes in the news about the time the movie was completed and the studio held release. It eventually was released but the distribution was somewhat limited. Randy Rundle
