  1. Was this the Cooper that Phil Hill took great delight in blowing up the engine?

    2. Jesse, I vaguely remember reading a story written by Hill years ago were he was driving for Cooper in some race, not sure which race, and he was trying to tell Cooper there was something wrong with the motor. Cooper insisted there wasn't and ordered Hill to keep going. Hill's laments he took great pleasure in blowing the engine. I know I read that in a car mag. Just not sure which one. Sorry.

    3. Good story, sounds very realistic... engine people naysaying race car drivers that can hum a particular engine sound through any race course they frequent... they know their engine sounds so well. I've never had the radio on in my 69 R/T and have listened to the engine for the past 11 years. I like to. Yeah, I go the sickness, and any dr would put me on meds I bet. Thanks JSFury!

  2. You're welcome. I know what you mean when you say you'd rather listen to the engine sing then the radio. ;-)
