Small and striped, and from a certain point of view, it has an enormous rear end. Just a camera angle

 When the couple of photos from this back corner turned out so oddly, I decided to change from my normal order of photos in a gallery. I almost always start from the front and work my way to the back, but this seemed like a good opportunity to switch up

  1. This is a "Halibrand Quick Change" rear end. The back cover plate was easily removed so the top and bottom gears (input from trans / output to the differential) could be quickly changed depending on the race track or competative conditions. The brake drums are from an "early" Type I VW Bug, as are the modified wheels. Nice example of an EARLY High Boy Racer.
