  1. That’s a lovely piece of anime. On the air-cooled Suzuki two-strokes the “Ram Air System” scoop was cool but the 3-into-4 exhaust system seemed needless weight just to get “the look” of the Honda fours; the asymmetric apparatus on the Kawasaki triples was much sexier. The British however went further, the early versions of the Triumph Trident and BSA Rocket 3 (1968-1975) offered a unique take on things with three headers (the centre bifurcated thereby creating four pipes) ducted into two mufflers, each of which terminated with three exhaust stubs so it can be described as a 3-into-4-into-2-into-6 which seems at least one layer of complexity too many.
