Found in the comments - O'Laughlin Tracked Jeep Sept 1943 tested at Aberdeen Proving grounds. Only two prototypes were produced using a Willys MB jeep and some parts from the Studebaker T15 Cargo Carrier. Selective braking method was used through the standard Jeep braking system. No test results or other records appear to have survived. Classicjeeps.co.us for information.
dang, I'm feeling sheepish, like I should have added that info... but I was just out to get some good, and fast, posts up. Life's been full of stress, and not much enjoyment of blogging for several weeks now
