This is a Eastern Germany (DDR) handbuilt VW bus, made to resemble the Western Germany VW bus. East Germany only had Trabant or Lada. The chassis appears to be a WW2 era 1943 Kubelwagen.
I'm pretty sure it really is wood, as the proportions are off in various ways, and I don't think any old bus had suicide doors. But it's clever, for sure.
