and I wasn't expecting to see a GTO, though this has cool looking white accents on the hood scoops, they ruined it by carrying the stripes over the roof, and some white stripes down the sides.

ReplyDeleteI love the Rockford Files. In season 5 there is this amazing lowrider that I'll have to get a screen shot of. It's in an episode called The Battle Ax and the Exploding Cigar.
ReplyDeleteI'm going through a couple episodes a night while blogging, and so far am up into season 3. I love the look at the cars all through every episode, but the stories are a bit too much drama, rarely any humor, and fixated on the mafia. Must have been a reaction to the Godfather movie? One character, Dom, was nearly a twin of James Caan
DeleteI think they eventually quit relying on the mafia so much. I find quite a bit of subtle humor, especially when Angel is on. But yeah, it is more drama than, say, Magnum P.I. We just watched a few episodes of Miami Vice, which I missed when it was on as I didn't own a TV then, but it has pretty amazing cars.
