  1. Not much about this in the press but ti looks like the UK car government is trying to make modifying cars illegal. The gist of it is that only OEM parts can be used on cars and not engine modifications including remapping of engine management systems. It might even cover changing the wheels.
    This could remove classic cars from the road and stop armature motorsport. I'm still trying to find a copy of the document but the consultation closes on 22nd November. Here is one of the few links I can find.

    1. I read about that.... bad news, but it's also been planned here in the USA too. Politicians really have little to do, never clean up the old laws, and often dream up new bullshit to please their lobbyists

  2. Didn't know this. So bad. The Brits were at the forefront of replica building. So, if you have some money left over, go out and buy these replicas, as it seems as if the window for producing these kind of cars is closing. Would not be surprised to see a steep surge in prices for replicas in 10 years.
