I think this is a Fiat, but hell, with decades of models made, I could easily be mistaken. I'm only fairly certain that the license plate is Italian, and the car is a 4 door because there are 4 people in the photo, and the car is rear engine
Anyway, nice composition and it would be a great photo for a bathroom wall is my first impression. Bathrooms need art too, and the more tranquil the better
I think it's a Fiat 600 Multipla built in the 60's.
ReplyDeleteBeen surfing about some, but seeing that the Fiat 600 was produced under license in Austria, Spain and Yugoslavia, it isn't easy to tell which one it is. Could even be one built in a dozen other countries. Smallish tail lights suggest it's and early one, but too many European countries used that sort of license plate.
ReplyDeleteThis is a regular Fiat 600 not a Multipla. You can tell by the shape of the side windows. Multiplas have 3 side windows. Regular Fiat 600 only have 2 side windows.
ReplyDeleteLike Kim mentioned Fiat 600 have been built in many countries under all sort of badges (Fiat, Seat, Puch, NSU and others). These cars where built all over the world. From Europe to South American and South East Asia.
Fiat 600 have two doors and a rear engine but still can accommodate 4 passengers and some cargo in the front trunk.
