  1. I had to look in your history to find out what the camels mean - missions over "the hump" or the Himalayas.

  2. George Lang didn't have a grandson named Eric - per his obituary (March 16, 2005, Seaford, Long Island, NY:
"Lang, George C., age 57, of Seaford, LI, on March 16, 2005. Congressional Medal of Honor, U.S. Army, 47th Infantry of the 9th Division, Kien Hoa Province, Republic of Vietnam, February 1969. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Lang. Loving father of Angela and Kevin Egan. Cherished grandfather of Kevin, Sean, Jillian and Jacqueline Egan."

    1. Obits aren't always thorough, or accurate. They usually are.. but anyway, Eric could just be the middle name of the guy, who doesn't want to use his first name. There are many people who use their middle name, and not their first name. But what the heck got you to researching to verify that George Lang's grandson was named Eric? After all, Eric emailed me these photos of his grand dad and the B 29 !
