He raced it through the 70s and into the 80s, went low 11s without too much modifications.
Restored it to concours spec in the late 80s and took it off the track.
He still blew the cobwebs out every so often out on the road but it wasn't until just last year that we opened up the headers and bolted the old American racing wheels back on it with fresh rubber and flogged it down the track for a Nostalgia Super Stock race.
It was running out of fuel on top end, so the mph stopped pulling strong after the 1000ft.
We've taken it back off the track until we can get the #'s matching guts swapped out.
