Wondering about the Lexington Flying Corporation got me no where, but they were duck hunting in South Dakota.
Well, not satisfied with that, and thinking any company that would have their cool woody lettered on the door must be something that stories could be told about, I looked for the pilot next, and danged if I didn't come up with something cool, he married one of his pilot trainees, Bernadine Hoben, and they started a flying business, the Surf Side Seaplane Base!

they sold the business (Lino Lakes, Minnesota, 2nd largest seaplane base on the country) in 1970 to the Hansons
Surfside first opened in the ’40s, but changed ownership years later. “Back in 1970, four of us worked for a trucking company and three of us were pilots. This place was up for sale, so we decided to buy it,” Hanson said.
