it wasn't long ago when this was a common site. VW Bugs were cheap to buy, simple to find, etc... and then, the collectors went crazy and snapped them up
In Brazil the Beetle was produced until 1986, but came back in 1993, until 1996. I believe it's the only case in the world of a car that went out of production and came back to production years later in the exact same shape.
