Steam powered machine shop from the 1900s, still in operation

    When my wife's employer bought the house across the street for more office space, there was a large garage behind it where the old man who had lived in the house had a complete machine shop. The whole shop was belt driven by a 5hp motor through a system of pulleys and pillow block shafts hung from the ceiling. The motor and machines had been moved out but I got the pulleys, pillow blocks, and shafts. I also got thanks for clearing the "junk" out... damn fool whippersnappers. ;o)
