Hi, the car above, is not a replica, it is an authentic and original Argentinian Road Racing car of that period.
It is a 1940 Ford Turismo de Carreterra, with its proper and also period Ford flathead engine, special aluminum high performance heads and intake manifold made in Argentina by RABA, 3 Ford 94 carburetors, and a full race cam.

I apprecaite Adriana Cobos letting me know in the comments that the car shown from a "Turismo Carretera", the most important racing category from Argentina.
Juan Manuel Fangio, before racing in F1 raced in this category.
The translation for Turismo Carretera would be something like Road Touring. Some info (spanish), http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anexo:Historia_del_Turismo_Carretera

For comparison, Fangio's first race car was a 39 Chevy
I posted that 2 years ago: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2012/01/fangios-first-race-car-1939-chevrolet.html
