Nik may not be blogging at Carrosantigos right now, but he's posting cool photos at 21studs.tumblr.com

That kid is probably riding a motorcycle right now
Wonder why they are loading that car from the 2nd floor to that delivery truck

Who? takes a bug on a deer hunting trip?

I'd like to know what's in the crate

The Nash with sleeper cab. I've seen one at a car cruise, it's not bad!

DeNiro, Taxi Driver, such an ironic sign over his arm

That is Ray Brock, but where is the steering wheel? If this were a right hand drive the speedometer would also be on the right.

This is some cool stuff! See more at http://21studs.tumblr.com

  1. In the pic with Ray Brock, it looks like there is a joystick on the driver's door. I don't see an accelerator pedal either, just a small brake pedal.

  2. Who? takes a bug on a deer hunting trip? Hippies.

That is Ray Brock, but where is the steering wheel? I bet the steering *mechanism* is that little joystick on the left.

I think the steering wheel for the Ray Brock car is the joystick on the left side.

  4. Nice pictures, all, but I really like the wheel-less Ford. I don't know if your "where's the steering wheel" was rhetorical but the joystick on the left and only a brake pedal on the floor tells me that it's a testbed for an alternative control method. They were ahead of their time...kids today would be able to control it better than with a wheel and gas pedal.

It reminds me of Mercury's "Twist Wrist" steering in the mid 60's. I've always wanted that on my car.
