Whoa.... that is a dang fine guess! I bet you're right, and I did not think of that! Sheesh, it really matters what the era was and the conditioned these were in, it was NOT in 2026 out driving around like this, it was 1918, and most people still were using horse wagons
Probably the brushes cleaned horse droppings from the wheels.
