Western Cable Railway Company Engine No. 4 hauling Falstaff beer in refrigerated railroad cars past the Lemp Brewery facility in St. Louis. (1912) The brewery operated its own rail line, which connected all of the plant’s main buildings with the shipping yards near the river and major railroads.
