Why does a Mazda RX7 have "Trrapln" for a license plate? Any guesses?

    Maybe the plate used to be on a Terraplane? The plate on my BMW Z3 is Chesire (only allowed 7 letters in IL) for the Cat whose smile got so big he disappeared. Made more sense when it was on my Jaguar XJS!
