If this record snowfall winter, lasting into this month of May, isn't proof of climate change, what is it?

  2. Oh great, snow mixed with dirt and mud... that will be frozen like rock for long, long time.

  3. Actually it IS proof of climate change. Unusual weather events, more frequent and more violent storms, excessive rainfall in some areas, drier weather in others, are all indictors, as are plants being found in more northerly areas than their usual habitat. It's here and it's real.

    1. Right, I was making the point that climate change is real, that there is no alternative explanation that is plausible

  4. the climate has been changing for millions of years

every heard of "the ice age" ?

when there were glaciers in what is now Pennsylvania?
    climate change is indeed real,
I just dont think its caused by me driving a SUV.
if it is caused by pollution, you ever been to some industrial cities in CHina and India?

    1. Just Kowloon in China. Never wanted to got to India. And yes, though I understand the ice age cycle, even have lived where the glaciers carved the great lakes around Michigan, I also picked up some knowledge and education along the way and came to understand the difference between the ice age cycle based on the eccentric orbit of the earth over 10 or 20 thousand years, and the far more rapid pace of the temperature change in the past couple years of climate change.
Do you think all that CO2, CO, and the rest of the garbage that's went out chimneys and tailpipes was harmless, espcially in view of the loss of the American forests, half the rain forests of Brazil, and most of the rain forest of Madagascar, and the other oxygen making plants that have been killed off. Clearly we've switched the equation from less CO2 making and more O2 production, to more CO2 and less O2 production
