I think the seller can't count, or he's planning to keep one for himself. I count 7 Pintos in the pictures. I think he's crazy if he thinks they're worth $16,000 each. I don't know if anyone would pay that much for all of them.
HA! Oh hell! I didn't count them either! And whoa, he's trying to sell them for 16k each? That's 4 times the likely amount he might get for them, and no one wants 7 station wagons. Unless it's a movie prop situation where they need several to wreck, one for close ups, one for camera mounts. In that case, this is a perfect collection. I can't think there could be many other needs for this set, no one is doing the jumping car shows like Chitwood did, so, sets of cars aren't in demand. Maybe, bank robbers? You know, some "Italian Job" trickery where one drives into a car garage, and 7 drive out, and the cops can't tell which one to chase. Especially, as 7 are more than most police departments could handle chasing at any one time.
It's possible these are gathered for filming a tv show or movie. I've seen trailers like this before- specifically multiple AMC Pacers here in LA when I later recognized them in the movie remake of Starsky and Hutch
