I got stopped twice on the drive home, the county sheriff and the highway patrol were all looking for the previous owner.
Thats why he was wanting to get rid of it so fast.
at one point my family owned two Mercury Meteors, a 62 4 door and a 63 two door.
which was odd, in a county that only had 7000 residents, we got the second one because someone saw us driving ours and asked if we were interested in another one. and all these years later I have never seen another Meteor.
