What a BOZO! Who the hell told VP Pence that it was OK to have an 8 Suburban motorcade touring Mackinac Island? Boo! Hiss! Pull that shit again and I'm voting full democrat ticket you jackass!

For clarification, things you DO NOT do:
Burn the flag,
Piss on the Alamo,
and you do NOT drive on Mackinac Island.

What sort of retard doesn't know these simple rules?

Yes, there are a couple vehicles allowed on the island, and they all provide a service. The Fire Dept, the police, the snow plow, the phone company, and an ambulance. The VP is too useless to claim to be providing a service. Effing mook!

For anyone that thinks that the VP needs 8 Suburbans to get around, I'll point out something, there are no reasons for anyone to have 7 Suburbans of assistants, handlers, secretaries, etc. NO ONE needs secret service anyway, there simply is no need to waste money on them. Yes, Ronald Regan, Teddy Roosevelt, Lincoln, Bobby Kennedy and JFK were shot, and that sucks, but the secret service didn't stop any bullets in those examples, so, go find some fake money and get the hell off the island until you can be respectable.

If the VP needs a ride to get around the island, take a horse carriage, that's what they are there for.
The VP doesn't need secret service anyway, no one gives a shit about the VP. Ain't no one trying to kidnap the VP for pete's sake

  1. Out of curiosity, why you should not drive on Mackinac Island? I know that they have some type of ban on cars outside services from long time but what is a reason of that?

    1. There are a few strange things about America, well, maybe there are many. Anyway, one is that it changed from riding horses to driving cars rather fast, and that change upset a lot of people. Cars in the beginning were extremely upsetting to most people, and nearly all horses.
So, on that island, as everywhere else, horses were pulling carriages, wagons, and buggies... and when someone had their horse spooked, and a couple horses and people got injured, they made the island ban cars.
Since there was only the one car, that spooked the horses and injured people, it was pretty simple to be mad at that one person and their car, and get them kicked off the island, and 121 years later, that ban has been in effect.

If you look on a map, you'll notice how remote that island is, and how it's way up near the Canadian border, far from any interstates, and from any large cities, and so that island, and the area around there, is still less polluted than most, and regarded as quite a nice outdoors "back to nature" place to escape all the noise, polluting cars, loud Harleys, belching black cloud diesels, etc etc.
I think I read it's a national park, and you may have heard that American federal national parks do not allow motorized vehicles on the park trials, and that is why, as I understand it, there are no vehicles except emergency vehicles, and the snow plows, as no one is so fanatic that they want to remove the snow the old fashioned way.

    2. anyway, that's my take on it... but as someone born in that area, I demand that the local custom be respected. No one needs politicians to visit there unless they are willing to get along with the local rules, and the federal laws, you know?
And like I have posted before, 6 presidents have visited, none have broken this ban on vehicles, and none were morons.
Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Gerald Ford who was raised in Michigan and helped to build cabins on the island as a Boy Scout, have been to the island as Presidents.

    3. Thank you for explaining this. I now fully understand your nervousness, Mackinac Island is not a distant country with complicated customs. It is still US territory, local politicians and even more so the vice president of the country should adapt to them, he is after all a servant of the country ... at least in theory. The presidents you mentioned did not have a problem with respecting this custom, nor should he. It takes so little effort to behave decently and yet it seems increasingly difficult for politicians.

  4. It's not the first time an elected official has done this. The issue is that he works for Trump. if Obama had done this all would have been just fine. You people need to grow up.

    1. You're a clinker... and ought to have enough sense to either ask me a couple questions, or read along enough to see that I'm for Trump, anti-liberal lefty imbeciles, and that I'm from that area of Michigan, and my feelings on this are based on my RESPECT for the island's tradition, custom, rules, and EVEN THOUGH they are anti motorized vehicles, I'm still a supporter of the Mackinac Island horse drawn carriages only custom.
So, you are wrong about me.
You would have me believe then that you have any clue about anything like whether or not anyone's previously driven on the island with a motorcade?
So, no. You're wrong about that claim, and it's one that you didn't bother trying to prove.
As for elected officials, Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Gerald Ford who was raised in Michigan and helped to build cabins on the island as a Boy Scout, have been to the island as Presidents. None of them rode around in a motorcade.
But don't take my word on it, as you're clearly not paying attention to what I have to say, look to the Detroit newspaper " Pence’s motorcade was the first-ever on the picturesque island, according to the Detroit Free Press."

    2. you're sign off "you people need to grow up" says a lot about your lack of class. You either never had it, or lost it along the way. You give Trump supporters like me a bad reputation for being morons. How about you shut the fuck up until you get educated on anything you want to weigh in on where it comes to my blog. You don't know me, you don't know Michigan, and the list of things you ought to know probably doesn't end there
