There's something going on when the bugs hitting the windshield sound like hail...

whatever you do, do NOT go out of the vehicle to look around, you ain't got enough blood supply for that sort of foolishness.

https://www.facebook.com/vlsowa/videos/10217800359313148/ for the video, it was at least a half mile long super bug zone.

So, keep your washer reservoir topped off with some sudsy stuff that cuts through hot baked on bug squeezins

By the way, the above are mosquitos near Munising, that's in Michigan's upper peninsula, the below seems to be an ambulance in Louisiana

So, seems to me there are more skeeters out to kill you by drinking your blood this year

  1. I would bet those are love bugs, endemic to the Gulf States. If you leave the little things on your vehicle they become damn near impossible to remove. They also etch paint. I remember my car getting caked with them when I lived in Florida. Gah.

    1. nope, those are mosquitoes, in the upper peninsula of Michigan, no joke. Click on the link, you'll see it's on M-94 between Chatham & Munising

    2. there's other places that claim to have a mosquito problem, but not the yoopers (I'm one) nope. The big swamp skeeters are pretty good with bbq dipping sauce, but the regular city ones are not as good tasting from the city water they drink. You know?
