Many years ago when I was living in Ireland I spent a week in the beautiful town of Aberystwyth, Wales. I then traveled on a train to Cardiff. I never got to see this particular train but I highly recommend visiting Wales on a vacation. Magnificent scenery. Be sure to go between May and September. Winters can be rugged there.
Thanks! Do you recall any specific place, town, pub, or landmark that is such a great memory you'd tell people that it is not to be missed when they vacation there? Winters, ha! You darn right don't vacation in the winter there! I've posted a couple other centuries old steam locomotives from the Wales, Scotland, Ireland, England area, and admire their design. Quite different from the Russian, German, American locomotives
