I just realized, Hemmings main focus used to be selling cars... and Bring A Trailer came along
and proved that Hemmings and the others can admit they are wasting their time, there is a new king of the mountain, and every other outlet is a pale imitation.
Yeah, but BaT just got bought by a huge company. and now they are listing beige Camrys and Chrysler minivans etc. the guy that started it would only allow interesting cars, now its anything and everything.
the guy that started it, knew what he was doing... he built it the right way, sold it for millions, and doesn't give a shit what happens to it now. Regardless, BAT is where everyone knows to go looking for used cars. 30 years ago, it was Auto Trader. and Hemmings. Now? BAT. So, even though it's minivans and Camrys, too, it's also a LOT of special cars. If a guy can't wait until the next RM, Sothebys, Barrett Jackson, or what ever auction, he goes and looks on BAT.
