I've been waiting to find some photos of cars on the way to Woodstock, with the license plates showing... especially a VW Bug. Now its up to luck whether or not they still exist. At least now, if they are found, there's proof they were at Woodstock


It's my notion that if the above Bug were found, and that license plate is still on it, it makes someone REALLY happy to know it was at Woodstock. Same goes for any of the cars below that have a license plate visible

    Most of the people still have their clothes on, so I guess they're on their way to Woodstock, rather than leaving.

    In most states the plates do not stay with the cars when they change hands, so the search might be fruitless. Great idea though.

    That XK140 in the last picture has a crunched left front fender, just a 15-year-old beater then. Can you imagine letting people sit on the front fender today?
