Ironically he says, "I don't recommend doing that" just before we can see the smoke start to appear from under his vehicle, due to the extremely hot exhaust pipe and catalytic converter lighting off the weeds he parked on.
He doesn't get his vehicle backed away, and off the weeds... so it starts to burn, taking out the electrical system, and disabling the vehicle.
Then he can't operated the fire extinguisher.
That's just stupid, doubled down.

Yes, a complete idiot who should be drummed out of the force! What serious crime was committed that justifies passing on the shoulder at 130 MPH! If one of those people had reacted properly when seeing a police car approaching at a high rate of speed and pulled onto the shoulder it would have been catastrophic!

There are many who ought to not be on the street, with a badge and bullets, for many reasons. Like, the cop that sprayed pepper spray at the bikers who he wanted farther away from him on the road, or the cop that was kneeling over the grandma punching her head into the pavement because she walked on the side of the freeway, or the ad infinitum examples I have posted of cops that aren't acting professional. This guy is merely stupid. I agree, stupid ought to disqualify him from being on the police force
