forgetting to set the parking brake or chock the wheel just became absurdly clear as the rarest missed item on the checklist at the Hilton Head Concours, and it was moments after winning the prize.

Nobody has missed that safety measure before, and I bet no one ever will again.

This $1.5M 1938 Packard 1605 Super Eightwas towed out of a golf course pond at the Port Royal Golf Club. Apparently, the trusted custodian of the Bohman Schwartz-bodied masterpiece neglected to set the parking brake. The owner wasn't present.

  1. I understand the allure of a good chardonnay or two.
but take your time, remember whats important,
The 19th hole is open all day.......

    1. it might have been that winning trophy moment or kissing the trophy girl. Heady stuff for old men with weak tickers
