Marc reminded me that last month Jay had pointed out that Chrysler took the Plymouth Tractor to court over the name Plymouth, the tractor company won, then practically gave the "Plymouth" name to Chrysler (selling the name to them for $1), and changed their tractor name to Silver King

The Silver King tractor in the first picture is the one Petty Mower talked about in the post below, that used to be called a Plymouth Tractor. They were made in Plymouth, Ohio, and are recognizable by the single front wheel.

DeleteThe Silver King tractors are fairly common among antique tractor collectors in Ohio. My In-law's old neighbor had a couple of them out in his yard. When I saw the picture, I remembered you had posted something about the tractors recently, and searched a little bit in your tags.
