  1. Hello. my name is Aaron Martin and I'm wondering if there's a way if I could contact Ron Young I am in the process of restoring a 1956 Buick Century and I am going to be copper plating some parts and I see he had his outside trim copper plated and I was trying to figure out what he used to clear them and protect them from tarnishing

    1. Good evening!
Darned if I know, but I bet you can skip trying to get ahold of him, just go to your local chrome shop, and stop at the part where they copper plate it. But get them to do that several times, then when they are done, have it quickly sprayed with clear coat paint so you never have to polish it. Or use never dull every week. It's a pain in the ass.
Or use some google fu an see if you can't find magazine and website coverage of Ron's car to see if they mentioned what shops did the work on this car, and those shops will be easy to get ahold of, one of them will know what was done on this car to get it to shine
