Today, is the 18th anniversary of the 1st post on the blog

(and here's what I wrote in the 1st post 18 years ago to get this blog started)

It's a start

In the beginning, men became fed up with walking.

Then they realized that horses left horseshoes, nails, and piles of manure in the roads

Soon, the marvelous elixir of gasoline was concocted, Charles Goodyear discovered the method of vulcanizing rubber.... and the birth of the internal combustion engine happened, roughly about the same time, and Voila! Some smart guy put it all together, and the human race began rolling around with engines powering wagons and the horse became obsolete

The automobile was on it's way to changing human culture, art, and transportation.

    1. THANK YOU! I have been skeptical about how many more years I'll do this at the current level of about 60-70 posts a week... I want to devote the time instead, to learning to play the guitar, and learning music theory, practice, sheet music reading, etc. Plus, I have at least 3 books I want to make.
