I imagine that is mighty damn cold in there, and they either better have a great little heater, a couple dogs, couple cats, or someone who loves to cuddle close even without a shower... cause you ain't showering in that little van

  1. According to Wikipedia, this is how the pop group 'Three Dog Night' got its name:

The Three Dog Night Story, 1964–1975 states that vocalist Danny Hutton's girlfriend, actress June Fairchild (best known as the "Ajax Lady" from the Cheech and Chong movie Up In Smoke) suggested the name after reading a magazine article about indigenous Australians, in which it was explained that on cold nights they would customarily sleep in a hole in the ground while embracing a dingo, a native species of wild dog. On colder nights they would sleep with two dogs and, if the night were freezing, it was a "three dog night"

  2. Thanks Kim, I always thought it was from Alaska that the group got its monikar. Learn something new every time I come here. On another note, I must say who ever is out there in that pop-up VW on a night like that has got some serious adventure running through their veins. "Baby it's cold outside."

    1. I thought there was an Inuit angle to it too, but I guess the otherwise correct story got altered a bit, as not too many people know of dingos. Or that it can be cold in Australia.

  3. I think all of the footprints around the van are from the emergency response team who pulled the frozen occupants out of this van and transported them to the nearest hot spring.
