Wow, in the Marines in 2002 and in the south pacific? I suppose that was that last of the peace time before before all shit hit the fan and every soldier in all branches seemed to get sent to the damn sand box. I was on the island in 2002 while in the Marine corps. Saw the wrecks...totally cool. They use the island now as a training area.
