was it just coincidence that the movie Predator 2 had 2 identical 1966 Mustangs in the background of this scene? Or was a car show letting out and the actors happened to walk through them?

the Mustang in the middle is a 67, and just out of the scene is a green 67.

    3. just watched it, and the street is full of old cars and trucks, like a car show is letting out

  2. I’ve worked on some movie sets (nothing big) and my guess is that there was some classic car convention or mustang meet up nearby and they just happened to be driving by when they filmed this scene. The “set director” wouldn’t be controlling the traffic for a shot like this... it’s just a couple guys crossing a gridlocked downtown street, so they probably shot it with the actual afternoon traffic.

But yeah, I noticed it, too, and I had to look it up. Haha!

  4. They close these streets down for filming because of liability reasons and the traffic is dictated by the director. I do agree that it was probably a car show during the filming and the director needed cars on that particular street. What you failed to see though is a fourth Mustang behind these three red ones. It’s a green 67/68 coupe.

    1. you presume too much. I did not fail to see it, I didn't bring it up, as it's irrelevant to the point which matters. There are 3 identical cars in the background, nothing else about this scene is significant. If you think other colored cars matter in this scene, you missed the obvious issue

    3. you need to make your own website, where people will mention stupid shit that has nothing to do with what your doing on your site. For example, who gives a shit how many apples were on the table in guest services?

    4. Oh, I forgot the new rule, to complain, write that complaint down on the note that accompanies your donation into the pay pal tip jar. Else, shut up, and go away

    5. Know your Mustangs They are 3 Ragoon Red Mustangs but the one in the middle is a 67 the 2 outside are 66, The tail lights are a dead giveaway. If you watch the scene you'll notice there is nothing newer than 1967 on the street. And not all Fords.

    6. Well, I posted this 7 years ago, and if I happen to watch Predator 2 anytime soon, which isn't likely, I'll be sure to compare the 66s and the 67. Until then, can you tell me why there isn't anything newer than 1967 on the street?
As for knowing my Mustangs, I'm fairly well informed, however, I also have them all posted. So, though I'm forgetful, I'm likely to have published more about Mustangs than you ever will.
So, how about being a tiny bit more forgiving. I simply do not see that my point is dismissed by yours, and you haven't answered the question I've posted, you've only deflected from it.
Be they 3 66s, or a pair of 66s and a 67, it's not material to the answer. WHY are their so many similar Mustangs, and as they're part of the scene, why aren't the characters acknowledging the weird situation?

    7. turns out that I just watched Predator, forgetting that this scene is in it, and at the 40 minute mark the actors walk across the street through all the pre-1970 cars and trucks.

  7. It was weird noticed the three red mustangs. But then noticed a green shelby. Then a split second after looked like the same shelby or car passing.
