high school was never this cool where I grew up, and only the smallest fraction of my graduating class had a car they owned or could borrow from parents, to drive to school

  1. When you posted in 2020, I commented that our school was under construction, so the students were parking in a gravel lot. This year, the high school allowed the seniors to paint their parking spots for the first time. They had to pay an extra $10, which also entered them into a drawing for a Senior Experience basket, including a free yearbook, prom and homecoming tickets and other goodies. I saw that 46 seniors painted their spots, out of a class of 250-300.

    1. that is great! Thank you for so much info on it, that's a lot more than I got from the articles I read... what is the name of the high school, I'd like to add this info to the post. Hopefully, I'll also find an article online about it from your local news as well
