I haven't seen a Shelby King Cobra in about 10 years, I didn't know there was more than one, and coincidentally, the last one I saw (#94) was also here at the 2012 LaJolla Concours

the shark nose Graham was one of those daring designs back when they didn't know where things might go, and companies too chances (Cord 810, Airstream Chrysler)
it's rare to see a VIN on the dashboard of any old car, I've only seen them on Chryslers and a Stutz
D61Y isn't easy to read, but this dual system makes it easy to read DDD Six One YYY. Very clever
