this 1955 Porsche 356 Pre-A 1500 Speedster was pulled out of a barn in Ohio, 5 decades after the original owner parked it in 1962, with just 60,000 miles. 10 years later, and 10k more miles, it's getting auctioned off

The auction company selling it expects that it will sell for double the value of a restored 356, as it is both rarer then most restored 356 speedsters, a barnfind, and scheduled to go under the hammer this weekend at the hands of Iconic Auctioneers. 

Valuation specialist Hagerty says a 1955 Porsche 356 in pristine condition is worth about  $200,000, but the auction house estimates the sale price of the car to be about $475,500

The sale will be part of the Silverstone Festival 2025
