Early Hurst advertising

I remember reading that this is what George Hurst started with, and was so successful that he started branching out. "When he made Almquist's acquaintance, Hurst and Campbell were working out of a garage outside Philadelphia in Abington, with engine mounts as their lead product" http://www.hemmings.com/mus/stories/2006/09/01/hmn_feature10.html

Information as of Apr 28 on ownership of Chrysler

Well, this should be interesting.

the United Auto Workers union (UAW) will soon own 55% of Chrysler LLC.

Fiat Group SpA will own 35%

while the other 10% will be owned by U.S. government and secured lenders, mostly banks and hedge funds.

Earliest example of Mooneyes and Moon fuel tank I've found

I can't verify that these are Mooneyes, but if they aren't... what else could they be?

Interesting because the tank isn't the keg shaped tank we're used to seeing.

Crower legacy display at the 1st open house and invitational customer car show

I believe the above was advertised, and I'll post that when I get it worked out

Cool stuff from Bruce Crower's garage that he let the show manager pick out to display!

More on this flat eight later, I know I have some stuff on it in the works!

More on Bruce Crower's involvement in Indy 500 racing... I believe I just read an article that mentioned he was chief mechanic.. I'll work on that too, and post a link when it's up

This is the coolest engine display I've ever seen, nothing but the moving parts! That would be the coolest garage display wouldn't it!
