FYI, Canepa is hiring, and there are some cool jobs in the Automotive/Vehicle field posted on SEMA.com

Sadly, the perfect job for me, or, one of them, is in Diamond Bar California, where ever that is, and it's a computer job as a writer/blogger... but they are adamant that the job is in office only, and not work remote.  https://jobs.sema.org/jobs/20928422/associate-editor-performance-racing-industry-pri

How the hell a job publishing stories on the PRI can be done in the office but can't be done in the field? At the tracks, PRI convention, etc etc? Makes no sense to me.

If I was running a magazine where the reporter had to be out getting stories, I would insist they NEVER be sitting at a damn desk in the office building were there are no auto shops, race cars, race tracks etc.

anyway, it must be great to make bad decisions based on trying to validate the ridiculous amount you waste on paying an office building lease. That's got to be the easiest job ever, and fastest way to ruin a business... and we all know, the famous decades old iconic car magazines have mostly went out of business because they didn't keep their journalists out in the field getting into garages, races, events, and shops finding new stories.

the way Hot Rod, Road and Track, Car and Driver, Hop Up, and Automobile became such cool magazines was that they kept their reporters OUT getting great content and making cool feature stories. Them stories on racing on Bonneville, Indy, Daytona, and El Mirage didn't happen because butts were filling the seats in the office
